Meet Peanut

Hi, I’m Brynn Smith, the founder of The Crafty Peanut. Owning my own business has been
a dream of mine for years, and event planning turned out to be the perfect way to
combine my two passions, organizing and crafting. 

And yes, you'll notice a lot of pink throughout my brand, because it's not just my favorite color,
it's a part of who I am.

I currently attend John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. I am majoring in Accounting and minoring in Entrepreneurship. Outside of my busy class schedule, campus jobs, and club involvment I love to read, watch movies, and spend time with my family and friends.

The Name

The name The Crafty Peanut holds a special place in my heart. Since the day I was born, my dad has called me “Peanut,” and it’s a nickname that reminds me of the importance of family, love, and lasting memories. That same inspiration guides my work, I want to help create unforgettable events that feel just as personal and meaningful for my clients. 

From the moment I decided to start my own business, I knew my nickname “Peanut” had to be part of it. This name brings me so much joy, and I couldn’t be more excited to incorporate it into my business.
